A human ear cast in bronze, embedded in the asphalt of a street, listens museum-like into the universe, while we become sick and deaf from our own traffic noise.
The bronze ear in the asphalt refers to a confidently hearing humanity.
Street art describes art, poetry that has broken out of the museum. The bronze ear in the asphalt is a small poem, detached from any function, that with its tiny voice wishes to call out a greeting to the large street space.
The whole series of bronze ears will be expertly embedded in the global asphalt jungle. This can be done discreetly or with great fanfare.
